Ingredients

1/4 cup chopped onion1 garlic clove, minced1 tablespoon olive oil1 can (14-1/2 ounces) reduced-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth1/4 cup water1 cup uncooked long grain rice1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed1/4 teaspoon pepper1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Preparation

In a saucepan, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender. Add broth and water; bring to a boil. Stir in rice, rosemary and pepper. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-18 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat; stir in cheese.
