Ingredients

4 large eggs1 cup 2% milk1 tablespoon honey1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon1/8 teaspoon pepper12 slices whole wheat breadOptional: Cinnamon sugar or vanilla frosting

Preparation

In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, honey, cinnamon and pepper. Dip both sides of bread in egg mixture. Cook on a greased hot griddle 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

If desired, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or frost with vanilla icing.
