Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened1 cup vegetable oil1 cup sugar1 cup packed brown sugar2 large eggs, room temperature1 tablespoon vanilla extract3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon cream of tartar1 teaspoon baking soda1 cup quick-cooking oats1 cup crisp rice cereal1 cup sweetened shredded coconut1 cup butterscotch chips1 cup raisins1 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter, oil and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour, salt, cream of tartar and baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the remaining ingredients.

Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake until lightly browned, 11-13 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.
