Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey1 small onion, finely chopped3/4 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper8 slices Swiss cheese1 jalapeno pepper, sliced4 pretzel hamburger buns, split and toastedOptional toppings: Sliced jalapenos, salsa and sour cream

Preparation

Combine turkey, onion, salt and pepper; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into four 1/2-in.-thick patties.

Place burgers on an oiled grill rack or in a greased 15x10x1-in. pan. Grill, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from heat until a thermometer reads 165°, 4-6 minutes per side.

Top each burger with 1 slice cheese, jalapeno slices and a second slice of cheese. Grill or broil 1-2 minutes to melt cheese. Serve on buns; top as desired.
