Ingredients

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce1 teaspoon sesame oil1/4 cup dry bread crumbs3 tablespoons chopped green onions3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley2 garlic cloves, minced1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot1-1/2 pounds lean ground beefSAUCE:1/4 cup rice vinegar1/4 cup hoisin sauce2 tablespoons water2 tablespoons sesame oil2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce1 tablespoon honey2 garlic cloves, minced1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix lightly but thoroughly.

Shape into scant 1-in. balls. Place in a 13x9-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake, uncovered, at 350° until meat is no longer pink, 20-25 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients; heat through. Serve with meatballs.
