Ingredients
6 tablespoons butter, softened2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley2 green onions, finely chopped2 teaspoons minced fresh basil or 3/4 teaspoon dried basil1 garlic clove, minced1/4 teaspoon pepper1 loaf French bread (1 pound)
Preparation
In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Cut bread in half lengthwise; spread herb spread on cut sides.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Broil 4 in. from the heat for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned.
