Ingredients

2 pounds smoked kielbasa or Polish sausage, sliced4 cups coarsely chopped cabbage2 cans (15-1/2 ounces each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained6 medium carrots, thinly sliced3 medium potatoes, cubed2 celery ribs, thinly sliced1 small onion, chopped2 cups water1 can (14-1/2 ounces) Italian diced tomatoes, undrained1 can (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth1 teaspoon dried basil1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon dried savory1/4 teaspoon garlic powder1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

In a large skillet, brown kielbasa in batches. Transfer to a 6-qt. slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook, covered, on low 6-8 hours or until vegetables are tender. Skim fat.
