Ingredients

1 can (46 ounces) tomato juice1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce1/2 cup water1/2 cup chopped onion1 celery rib with leaves, chopped2 tablespoons sugar1/2 teaspoon dried basil3 to 5 whole cloves1 bay leaf

Preparation

In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until heated through. Discard cloves and bay leaf.
