Ingredients

1 pound ground beef1/4 cup hot water3 small potatoes, peeled and diced1 medium onion, chopped1 can (15 ounces) peas and carrots, drained1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained1 tablespoon sugar1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Shape beef into 4 patties. In a large skillet, cook patties over medium heat until no longer pink. Transfer to a 3-qt. slow cooker. Add water to skillet and stir to loosen browned bits from pan. Pour into slow cooker. Add the remaining ingredients.

Cover and cook on low until potatoes are tender, 4-6 hours.
