Ingredients

1-1/2 pounds ground beef1 large onion, chopped1/4 cup chopped green pepper1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed chicken gumbo soup, undiluted1/2 cup ketchup1/4 cup packed brown sugar3 tablespoons white vinegar1 tablespoon prepared horseradish1 bay leaf1 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper12 sandwich rolls, split

Preparation

In a large skillet, cook beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the soup, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, horseradish, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Discard bay leaf. Spoon onto rolls.
