1/2 cup soy sauce1/2 cup sliced green onions1/4 cup packed brown sugar2 garlic cloves, minced1/4 teaspoon ground ginger1/4 teaspoon pepper2-1/2 pounds beef ribeye steaks
Preparation
In a shallow dish, combine soy sauce, onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and pepper; add steaks and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Drain steaks, discarding marinade. Grill steaks, covered, over medium heat until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°), 5-7 minutes on each side.
