Ingredients

1 cup lemon-lime soda3/4 cup vegetable oil3/4 cup soy sauce1/4 cup lemon juice1 teaspoon garlic powder1 teaspoon prepared horseradish1 boneless beef top sirloin steak (about 1 pound)

Preparation

In a shallow dish, combine the first six ingredients. Add steak and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.

Drain and discard marinade. Grill steaks, covered, over medium-hot heat for 3-5 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°).
